Our story
Presentation
Pletenine Špenko is a family company that produces women’s and men’s knitwear. We have been operating successfully on the Slovenian market since 1972. The company has gradually expanded and now has over 25 employees.
On anniversaries, we prepare independent fashion shows, which always reap a lot of enthusiasm.
Our collections are distinguished by color diversity and variety of models. We produce classic models and those for more demanding customers. We combine the models with each other, where we let our imagination run wild.
We follow fashion guidelines as we attend textile fairs such as PITTI FILATTI and ITMA every year.
We also participate in various exhibitions and fairs. At the exhibition of crafts and entrepreneurship, we received a GOLD PLAQUE in 2003, and in 2005 together with the textile section GOLD AWARD.
In 2002, we obtained the SQ mark as a sign of quality and following fashion guidelines.
We are especially proud of the award for the most innovative product, which was awarded to us in 2011 by the IRCUO development institute.
What do we make?
Knitwear for all generations
We make women's and men's sweaters, jackets and vests. For women, we also offer skirts, co-ords, dresses, tunics, leggings, knitted pants, ponchos, coats, capes, T-shirts, tops and knitted fashion accessories.
Hunting program
Hunting jackets, hunting sweaters, hunting vests.
Commercial knitwear
Knitwear, advertising knitwear for the promotion of companies with the logo involved (no embroidery required), and knitwear for uniforms such as sweaters, cardigans, vests.
Humanitarian active
Since 2003 we have been contributing products for the most promising ensemble on the SLOVENSKI SLAVČEK event every year. We also donated to the Association of Friends of Youth Maribor and to the local fire brigade.
